So once again I seemed to blink and Summer passed by. There’s now that crisp feel to the air back and the leaves have definitely changed. For me, Autumn has always been more of a fresh start than potentially even New Year. I think it may be that I’ve been in education too damn long, with each September heralding the beginning of a new academic year. As I’m approaching my final year at university this may well be the last time I ever see this time of year as a new beginning so I thought I’d share what this Autumn means to me.
Autumn for me means more than just the return of the Starbucks ‘Pumpkin Spice Latte’, even though I do absolutely love it. It’s an exciting time where I get to look forward to what the next university year has in store for me. What will I achieve? Who will I meet? Will friendships evolve or dissolve? All of it is out of my control which I haven’t really realised until recently. I’ve always liked to plan and have some level of control over my life which actually isn’t too healthy. It’s healthy to have goals but not to feel so downtrodden when they aren’t achieved. I am now a true believer in everything happens for a reason no matter how bad ‘everything’ might get at times. This autumn I feel like I am at a complete crossroads in my life with only one more year at university. I’m taking my new found attitude toward life and seeing this as an exciting time. A time where I try to make the most of my final year and not worry too much about the future.
So what else do I want out of this season? I have absolutely loved blogging already with just a handful of posts under my belt. I want to continue to write about what I get up to, my passions and build a following of readers whilst doing it. I already have big plans in the making with a potential redesign. I also plan on seriously trying to maintain a healthy lifestyle taking readers along with me. There’s just so much I want to achieve out of this blog and I may even start vlogging soon so watch this space….
So what does this Autumn or this season in general mean to you? Let me know in the comments below ๐ x

My autumn pretty much means the exact same as you! I’m just in my last year too and I am terrified tbh! I’ve not fully had the uni experience as well as I did a 2+2 and now I’m thinking was that the right choice!? ๐ฆ

I love Autumn for so many reasons but my main one is probably Christmas, I know it’s in Winter but Autumn for marks the run up. All the shops start to get their Christmas stock in and the shoppers are out bargain hunting. It’s a great season full of festivities! I’ve recently written a post about my loves of Autumn if you’d like to take a look.
